Aglio Nero of Voghiera is the first and only black garlic made exclusively from garlic of Voghiera P.D.O.. This garlic, known for its sweet and delicate taste, undergoes a natural fermentation process that enhances its qualities, transforming the bulbs into a clove rich in complex and beneficial flavours for well-being. Refined and delicate, Voghiera D.O.P. garlic is renowned for its sweet and fresh taste, the result of enzymes, vitamins, flavonoids, and minerals, which together create a unique and inimitable aromatic and genetic essence. Certified and protected by the Voghiera Garlic Producers Consortium, established in 2000 and recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies. Synonymous with tradition, Voghiera D.O.P. garlic boasts a deep connection with the territory and the people who live there, characteristics that are preserved by keeping all operations strictly within the production district as established in the production regulations: each phase is carefully monitored and certified, and the product is subjected to multiple quality controls. It takes on an intense black, almost caramelized color.
